Public figures about Artisse from the app stores and artisse.ai (checked October 2026).

Artisse is an AI photo app. People create realistic photos of themselves, styled and themed down to the smallest detail.

We redesigned the app’s user experience. The goal: turn a technical tool into a creative, community-driven platform where people can create, discover and share their AI personas with ease.

The challenge

AI image generation had become hugely popular, but also complex. People loved the idea, but got lost in prompt writing, confusing screens and uneven results.

So we asked: how can AI photography feel as simple as a camera app, but 100x more creative?

The experience had to be:

  • Intuitive for first-time users of AI photography
  • Inspiring, so people discover and express themselves
  • Scalable, with room for community features, AI personas and new ways to earn revenue

Our approach

We focused on discovery and creative flow. Every step feels playful, guided and rewarding: less friction, with the same creative depth.

1. Home and discovery

The new home screen puts inspiration first: trending theme packs, seasonal highlights and personal picks. One tap on “Create for 30” starts a session, so curiosity turns into creation right away.

2. Crafting prompts

“Craft Your Prompt” is a visual assistant. People mix backgrounds, moods, poses and lighting without writing complex text.

It gives power users flexibility and beginners clarity, so everyone can describe the photo they want.

Publish flow: choosing prompts, adding a caption and naming a theme pack

3. Theme packs

We rebuilt photo generation around Theme Packs: curated sets of 10 photos with one look or story, like “All About Balloons”, “Studio Portraits” or “Around the Globe”. Each pack feels like a personal photoshoot: colorful, consistent and ready to share.

4. Community

The new community flow invites people to publish, give feedback and get recognition. Users become creators.

5. Visual and interaction design

The look is vibrant, modern and fluid: a mix of art and technology. Gradients bring creative energy, while clean layouts keep the focus on what matters, the photos.

A clear hierarchy keeps AI photos, community posts and prompt templates easy to tell apart in a very visual app.

Micro-interactions add delight, from smooth tab changes to a small celebration when you publish a prompt.

The result

Artisse became a playful but professional creative tool that balances power and simplicity. The results:

  • Higher user retention, thanks to guided creative flows
  • More engagement with theme packs and community prompts
  • A stronger emotional bond between users and their AI personas

Designing for AI creativity means turning imagination into an experience. With Artisse, we built more than a photo app: a place where technology meets identity, and where people can say “This is me, reimagined through art.”

Over the past six months, we have worked with five different UIUX designers, but none of them came close to the level of expertise and professionalism that Sevgi has demonstrated. In a field where deadlines are critical and the pace of work can be demanding, she has consistently delivered high-quality work on time. Her ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks has been instrumental in keeping our projects on track.
