Questions founders actually ask us.
How we start, how long things take, how pricing works and how we work with your team. Can’t find your question? Ask us on a free intro call.
Getting started06
Just send over your current materials and let us know what you'd like to focus on first. Once we align on the priorities, we’ll set up a simple contract and we can get going.
Totally. We don’t expect a polished brief. Whether it’s a Notion doc, a pitch deck, or just an idea in your head, we’ll help shape it into something clear and actionable.
Context. Anything you’ve got; strategy docs, user feedback, product goals, past designs. And we’ll ask smart questions to fill in the blanks.
Let’s talk. We’re good at helping people make sense of messy problems.
Yes, absolutely. You can start with one or two items -like the website or a pitch deck- and expand as needed. No pressure to commit to everything at once.
When a client slot is available, kickoff can usually happen within a week. We confirm current availability and the likely first delivery during the intro call.
Timeline and pricing04
It depends on the scope. Smaller tasks can be done within a few hours, while more complex projects may take a few weeks. Once we’ve seen the full picture, we’ll share a rough timeline.
Depends on the scope. A basic MVP prototype usually takes 1–3 weeks. A flow redesign might be quicker. We’ll give you a clear timeline upfront and stick to it.
You can work with us in three ways: a monthly plan for ongoing design work, a one-time project with a fixed scope and price, or flexible hourly support for smaller tasks. If you're not sure what fits best, we’ll scope your needs together and help you choose the setup that gives you the right amount of flexibility and hands-on support.
Focused projects are priced according to scope and complexity. Ongoing work follows the available subscription plans. After the intro call, you receive a clear recommendation before making a commitment.
Choosing a service05
Start with the problem that creates the greatest risk or blocks the next product milestone. We can recommend a focused first engagement and build from there if more support is useful.
Yes. A focused flow or feature is often a useful way to test how we work together. If ongoing needs become clear, the engagement can continue as a subscription.
Yes. We can work within your existing visual language and component library, then extend it only where the product needs new patterns.
Both. If you already have branding (logo, colors, fonts), we can build on that and apply it consistently across your materials. If you’re starting from scratch or want a refresh, we can also help define a new visual direction.
Yes! We handle things like pitch decks, one-pagers, social media posts, product demo videos, invoice templates, and more. If it’s visual and needs to look sharp, we can help.
Working together04
We mostly use Slack for day-to-day communication, Loom videos for async handoffs and walkthroughs, and Figma comments for design feedback. If needed, we can also hop on quick calls. We’re flexible with tools; whether it’s Jira, Trello, or Linear, we’ll fit into whatever workflow you prefer.
Both work. Some clients prefer async updates in Slack or Figma, others like quick weekly check-ins. We adapt to your workflow.
Absolutely. We speak dev and collaborate well with engineering teams to smooth out edge cases, QA tricky parts, and make sure nothing gets lost in translation.
Yes. We prepare designs for implementation, answer questions during development and review the build. A design is not finished simply because the Figma file is approved.
